I have no problem with my dash being flooded with the whole “STOP KONY 2012” stuff. But I do have a problem with the “Make Kony FAMOUS” like seriously we should not be promoting to make him ‘famous’ but to make him known and to make the actions he’s doing and has been doing…
When people use famous it is in quotations. We are making him “famous” to get everyone to notice him and all of his wrong doings and all of the things he has done in the past. We want to bring him to light because he has been invisible for so long. To be famous means that a mass majority of the population recognizes you whether it be GOOD or BAD and in this case it is BAD. So thats the reason why everyone is making him “famous” not to celebrate him but to capture him.

I disagree, I don’t think the term ‘famous’ is specifically related to positivity. If I said ‘name a famous politician’ and you said…George Bush… He’s not what I would call a humanly good person who deserves respect, but he’s ‘famous’. etc. etc.
